22nd October

Dear John

I have just watched chapter 11 and it hit me between the eyes. You looked right into the camera and it felt as if you were talking to me. Everything you said had an impact because I am guilty of everything you said. You said it so well and all my questions and fears were answered. I will watch this lesson over and over especially when things are not going the way I'd like them to go. I was totally taken aback when you mentioned talking to me in Scotland. I never expected that!

I was chatting to my friends who live in Denver and they also traded the euro dollar today but made monumental losses. They got their timing out and traded in the narrow channels but they could not see them!! They have the Wizetrades software and buy or sell when its green. I told them to download the VT (They won't because they've been suckered into believing in the software they have and really are not fully aware of what is going on). they've been trading for 2 years seriously yet I feel I have learned more in 2 months.

Darren and I had a good days trading together. I have found that I make my best trades between 2 and 4pm. All my 1 or 2 pip trades are in the mornings yet my runs happen after 2. Today it started at 3pm. I traded £5 a pip to get the feel of the £5 and my first trade I made £70 and the second I made £80. I then made a further £85. After 4pm when the spread reduced to three pips I put in a sell on the VT and got the 2 pip spread on the euro dollar and made 54 pips. I kept pulling my stops down and so was always at 10 pips behind. That gave me such a good feeling because I had a guaranteed profit, I was relaxed and let the trade run. It stopped out at 10 because it turned around so fast and spiked me out. So you could say I lost control at the end and didnt cut and run before 10. I think to date that was my most successful trade. I was in total control over a period of about 20 minutes or less as I was doing the 1 minute chart. I had the 5 minute open to guide me.

Darren wants to change his trading times to the afternoons as well. My biggest losses are in the mornings yet I always seem to do well in the afternoons with very low losses. That suits me fine as I dont like getting up that early even though I am awake. urg. I dont trade unless I have all my ducks in a row and my workspace is organised. Darren made super profits today. He made losses when I made mine earlier in the day when we were not chatting. In fact we've been on Skype several times over the last week and traded together. Darren would say he is going in and I'd say but look Darren its at the stop of spike or whatever other reason and then he'd see where he went wrong and made the change and got out with a profit. He did the same to me alerting me to indicators and wrong entry points and we learned a lot from each other. He was beaming at 4pm this afternoon.

I envy those at your seminar. Leigh and I are making a holiday of coming to France and when I give up my day job that will be very doable as I'm not chasing my emails.

The courses - both of them are awesome. I hope the John you introduced me to will get into it but I do realise that if you are not hungry and dont have the strong desire to do this you wont make it. I have a tendency to embrace new ventures and go for it hammer and tongs and when I find a venture that holds my interest like trading, then it will have my attention for years just like web design has done for me over the past 8 years. I have several qualifications. I am a trained forensic document examiner but never worked in the trade so that was more of a qualification because I have a passion for forensics. I am also a handwriting analyst. Once I give up my day job I can get into the forensics and handwritring analysis because I'll have the TIME to do it.

I look forward to chatting to you after the course. I bet you'll be so busy over the next two days. Enjoy

kindest regards - Desiree
