Dear John
Hope you are well. the demo trading is coming along nicely. I have my son and daughter also very keen now as well. We are reading up a lot on charting and indicators. However there is a problem with downloading the VT Trader from yourwebsite. The one on your website takes you to an older version which doesnt have the HA charts. Also as soon as you download it , you are told there is an upgrade and thats when the problem starts.
My son called VT and went onto their forums and they were all unable to help him however as I, Leigh and Tanya encountered the problem we were able to sort it after much trial and error.
Would it be possible to add an updated link to your website because anyonedownloading it from there will have these problems and the program wont even start. The problem is that two versions download onto your computer (the original and upgrade) and this causes a conflict in the running of the program. Youneed to uninstal both programs (there are two uninstal options thankgoodness ) and each time you need to reboot. Then you have to go to CMSFX.com and download their demo trader and only once you've done that areyou able to run the program. Even that causes problems if the olderversions are not fully uninstalled. CMSFX do ask you to register an account but all you have to do is click cancel. When you open a demo account with them you are only given one option for a $50 000 account not three like your website allows.
Leigh is very keen on purchasing your new course as soon as it comes out. He'll be in touch. We have very different trading strategies. Mine seems to work better and is more reliable with not loosing money. I concentrate on getting smaller pips and baling sooner than he does. I work on the 1 and 5 minute charts but only because I watch my screen and can get out sooner. He needs to longer term ones with this flying and being away from the computer. He makes huge profits and then the direction changes or he hits support or resistance lines and looses loads of pips as his stop cuts in.
I've been able to make my 10 to 15 pips a day within an hour or so and then the huge discipline kicks in to walk way and stop trading (not easy).I look forward to hearing from you kind regards Desiree
