3rd October

Hello John - Subject Tornado

Today my son and I went into a ‘long term trade’. It’s not for me. I’ve my stops and limits set but I just can’t relax. I think with experience I will get better at it however it was a brilliant day for watching the charts and seeing how they move and to stay in when it looks as if the trend is changing but when you look at the broader picture it’s still going down. It showed me to follow the trend. I made some very good pips today. 38 on one account and 33 on another. My average for wins is at 61.5% and 75% on my two accounts.

After the good gains I put in the long term and now I want it to finish so I can quit it. It didn’t help that VT trader konked out this evening. The support folk were very helpful and responded immediately.

This evening I did the Tornado and it’s brilliant. I have added a chart to each of my currency pairs, making the 30 minute chart my tornado chart. What would you recommend for the 5 minute chart on the moving average? You do mention this is for longer term trading but I’d like to see how it fits for the 5 minute.

I believe Leigh wrote about buying the spread betting course. I never realized that World spreads is a spread betting account. I did those tutorials as well. So now I am up to date with all your lessons and go over some chapters to refresh my mind. I’ve put all my books on charts and such away and just concentrating on what you taught me.

My son and I are working on the trading together and it’s been a wonderful bonding time for us. We’ve had great laughs and panics together. He’s got a math degree and is very logical and organized and disciplined. Keeps a cool head as well. I really feel he will do well at this. His approach is brilliant to watch. He reads the indicators better than I do so this next month with him will be a pleasure while we learn this new trade together.

Hope you have a good night Kind regards - Desiree
